This Letter Posted Itself (I Only Set the Time)

Friends,
When this letter went up, nobody pressed a button.
I wrote it ahead of time and picked the hour. When the hour came, my website put it out by itself. No one had to be there.
It is like a coffee maker with a timer. You set it the night before. In the morning the coffee is just there, and nobody had to stand in the kitchen waiting for it.
Last time I wrote, I had taken a lot of machinery out of my website. It is still simpler than it was, and it kept this appointment on its own.
That is what I mean when I say government should be unobtrusive. Do the job, on time, without making anyone stand around and watch.
Less waiting. More coffee. Forsooth!
Your friend, Eugene
P.S. Some things do not need a timer. The pizza ban at campaign headquarters is always on. Chocolate cake only.
